Gotta' get going on this
Hey, I gotta' get going on this blog thing. I've been just putting everything on the facebook and I need to get this baby rockin.' I'll be asking around and will try to see how to do stuff on the blog that I do on facebook. I know that it isn't rocket science to post a slideshow or video. I'm going on a hike with students this weekend to Doi Chiang Dao. I'll put pix up of the trip. That's my homework.

Sorry we've been absent.
Sorry, we've been absent. We have been posting to facebook. I know that some of you are afraid of that level of intimacy, so we'll try to maintain both forums for our friends.

Kam's Baptism
Kam was baptised on the 26th of April. We had a wonderful service and the kids behaved beautifully! Mom was happy. Todd and Amy Black are Kam's godparents and we couldn't be more pleased with their proper behavior at the ceremony.

Spring Break 2009
We had a great time with Grandma Roxy in Aliso Viejo. Nate joined us for our annual roadtrip to California. We lucked out on the weather and a propitious snowday on the Friday we were leaving Colorado. The week was spent swimming, cycling, walking, and eating like Mongols. I gained 5 lbs. on the trip...thanks, Mom. On the way back we drove through Phoenix and visited Jay, Landy, and Vivian Headley. We miss living in a neighborhood after that stop. The Headley's are lucky and generous folks. The return trip to Colorado was fairly uneventful and we are ready for the final 6 weeks of school.

Party with the Morales'
Had a wonderful visit with the Macho Man himself. Trevor brought over his two kids, Kaitlyn (2.5) and Tyler (3 months.) I thought our kids were cute. Holy cow! We swam in arctic, for SoCal, temps and had a ball. Pizza for dinner and playing on the floor. Things have changed for us since grade school.
