We love California weather!

We arrived at Grandma's house on Friday night and began a week long hedonistic holiday. Uncle Nate flew in from Thailand to join us in Aliso Viejo. Kai and I have been biking a ton and on Sunday we racked up a 10 mile off road ride. He was pretty spent considering he swam before and after at the pool. I told him that if he ran around the block a few times it would be like doing the Ironman. Kam is loving the pool and we all are heavily into the food here. Photos to come soon.

Maiden voyage

Bombadil's maiden voyage in the back yard. I love this sign. Not all Coloradoans are hippies.

Biking in Denver

On Sunday the 15th we went to Denver to enjoy the weather. What a great time! We rode about 8 miles on the Cherry Creek trail and spent some time at Confluence Park. It's always great to see the city waking up after winter. Kai and Kam had a ball.

Fun in the Earthship

It was a little cold so we decided to ride bikes in the earthship. We rode for an hour and made ramps for big air. Kai was pushing his two-wheel limits and Kam was doing her best to keep up. Lots of low-cost fun.

Bros and what not

When I was at the Leadville 100 with Kai we were at the powerline section watching all of the leaders ride by. After about 25 riders passed us Kai said, "Some of these guys are famous and some of these guys are just bros."

Thailand bound!

We are Thailand bound! Kip will be teaching history and Kristin will be teaching preschool in Chiang Mai, Thailand starting in August 09. We will be working in a private British school and are thrilled to be so near the Pun Pun Farm and Kristin's family.

Peggy and Nate will be looking for housing and we hope to be able to ride bikes to work.

Kai will be in school at Lanna and Kam will be home for one more year.

Hope to have visitors soon.
